My Staff Experience!

DAY #1

The first day of ETC , was a crazy day and the hardest task of all the event because we needed to have everything ready to welcome our audience as a member of the staff . I was reading about the speakers that I had to introduce and I was working with the girls from registration giving the kits for the audience who were checking assistance.

We started ETC 2017 with our principal Katherin Grace Durán Howard, she talked about how the Escuela de Lenguas created the ETC and what are the expectations for us and the audience , also she gave the news that our school obtained a certificate of level 1 on CIEES.
Our principal explained the importance to learn a second language today.

After the speech of our principal, the speaker Leah Katz- Hernández , talked about her experience as part of the hearing impaired community and the importance to include people like her in our schools and society, also she talked a little bit about the first school for deft people on USA.

I felt exited with the first day because it was the first time that I was part of this kind of congress, I had the opportunity to know more about my school and all that we offer to our community of students, definitely be a member of the staff was a good decision for me.

DAY #2

My second day as member of staff was really grate , i had the opportunity to introduce an speaker from Puebla she presented us her project and how she worked with teachers that do not have a career as an English teachers. She explained us how to work with them and with students in general through a platform that help us to teach them at distance without spend a lot of time on a computer and with easy skills to work with them and improve their knowledge.

also the second day she explained how to work with a platform and what we can do on it, how can we used and what benefits it has, I was really interesting in this workshop because it was a good way to learn about how to incorporate technology with the way that we teach a second language in different levels.

My friends and me decided to take us this picture to participate on the contest "ETC in one picture"

in was good to have friends that share with my this wonderful experience that is ETC for me because all of us are students from the Escuela de Lenguas and we want to be an English teachers that want to change the way to teach a second language, that is the reason why we decided to take this picture as a reminder of this congress!

DAY #3

the last day , our principal gave thanks to all the assistants to be part  of ETC 2017, it was a emotional moment for everyone.
